The JASON Project provides teacher training, and a curriculum specially developed to highlight the science, technology, engineering, and social studies of the year's expedition. Participating students at the interactive downlink sites have the ability through telepresence to "go live" to the expedition, to operate the scientific equipment being used, and to talk directly with the scientists at the expedition site.
